The students of the IMF, together with the lecturers, attended a lecture in which they learned about Nikolai Amosov as the founder of bio-cybernetic science in Ukraine,which was held in the Internet Center at the Oblast Universal Scientific Library named after D. Chizevsky.

The world-famous thoracic surgeon was interested in modeling physiology, thinking, psyche and social behavior of man and created the first device of artificial blood circulation in Ukraine.

Nikolai Amosov headed the Department of Bio-Cybernetics at the Institute of Cybernetics at the Academy of Sciences and wrote a number of books in the field of this science.

Students watched the film about robots created under the direction of Nikolai Amosov and examined the exposition from his books.
